The
First Presidential Dollar bearing the likeness of
the "First African American President". In 2007
the United States Mint introduced the new Presidential
Dollars series - a collection celebrating each non-living
U.S. President on a golden Dollar coin. Four
coins are issued each year, so the minting schedule
for each coin is limited to only about three months
– this First 2007 Presidential Washington Dollar
is no longer being struck by the United States Mint,
making it a appropriate keepsake for another historic
moment in Presidential history.

Symbolism
abounds on the JFK Half Dollar – Kennedy’s own daughter
and his brother Senator Ted Kennedy endorsed Obama
calling him the candidate who embodies the kind
of change JFK represented. Obama is the first
person since Kennedy to go straight from the Senate
to the Oval Office. Time and again, Obama invokes
JFK's mantra of "The Promise of Change."

Illinois State Quarter features Abraham Lincoln
on the reverse. On Feb. 10,2007, Barack Obama
announced his candidacy with the following speech:
"It was here, in Springfield, where North, South,
East and West come together that I was reminded
of the essential decency of the American people
- where I came to believe that through this decency,
we can build a more hopeful America. And that
is why, in the shadow of the Old State Capitol,
where Lincoln once called on a divided house to
stand together, where common hopes and common dreams
still live, I stand before you today to announce
my candidacy for President of the United States
of America."

on Nov. 3, 2008 the day before Election Day, the
Hawaii State Quarter is the last quarter in the
50 State Quarter series. Hawaii is the birthplace
of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United
States of America. Barack Obama was born in
Hawaii on August 4th, 1961.All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition
and enhanced with a patented technology.
